Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist Standard Renewal Requirements: Speech-Language Pathologists in Ohio must renew their license every two years by December 31 of even-numbered years, completing 20 continuing education hours per cycle. At least 2 hours are required in ethics, and 10 hours must specifically relate to clinical practice, while remaining hours can be general. No minimum in-person or live hour requirement is indicated, but live interactive webinars qualify as live learning. CE must be approved by the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board or ASHA Ohio Speech & Hearing Professionals Board renewal .
