Tennessee Medical Doctor Standard Renewal Requirements: Medical Doctors in Tennessee must renew their licenses biennially at the end of their birth month, completing 40 hours of accredited CME every 2 years, all of which must be AMA Category 1 or AAFP credits. Licensees are required to complete at least 2 hours in prescribing controlled substances and chronic pain guidelines CME and a 2-hour public safety course starting April 22, 2024. I can now define those exact errors and better understand what happened to me.
