Florida Pharmacy Technician Standard Renewal Requirements - Florida pharmacy technicians must complete 20 hours of Board-approved continuing education every 2 years, with at least 2 hours focused on medication errors. As of May 22, 2025, there is no longer a live in-person CE requirement; all CE can be completed online or through home study. No background screening is required for technician renewal. I can now define those exact errors and better understand what happened to me.
