Required Courses:

1 hour on Category A: directly related to the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and the administrative rules of the Ohio Board ofNursing. To qualify as Category A, the CE must be approved by an Ohio Board of Nursing (OBN) approver.

For the period immediately following Ohio licensure by NCLEX examination, the nurse is not required to complete any contact hours on CE for the first license renewal.
