The Role of Physicians in Acne Medications
Enhance your dermatologic care expertise with this 2-credit CME course on acne medication management. Explore updated strategies for selecting, prescribing, and monitoring acne therapies to optimize patient outcomes. Credits auto-reported to CE Broker.

About this course
Acne affects at least 85% of teens; plus, 25% of all adult men and 50% of adult women get acne at some point in their grown-up lives. Many of us turn to drugstore products to combat breakouts, which is a great first line of defense. However, no two pimples are alike, and a physician is able to provide customized advice and treatment options for acne sufferers (A Jackson-Cannady,2011). This activity focuses on the various types of acne medications to correctly prescribe a regimen appropriate for a skin type, the severity of the acne, and the progression of a scarring.

I am always interested in continuing education in the areas of health, wellness, nutrition and mental health. Your course was well written, well organized and helpful in meeting state licensure requirements.
Very well written, easy to digest, time efficient, and straight to the point. Thank you!
I appreciate the convenience of the course being online and accessible through my phone and that it directly reports to CEBroker to support mandated education requirements.
I really loved this information. I was hospitalized last year for almost a month and I noticed multiple medical errors (not being hooked up to my IV multiple times, given wrong medication which caused my sodium to be very low, etc.) which lengthened my stay. I can now define those exact errors and better understand what happened to me. I hate that these medical errors are so common and I appreciate how well laid out your breakdown and categorization of them was.
I am always looking for concise ,thorough, and up to date continuing education, and this course provided exactly what I was looking for. Thank you
Enjoyed this course! It squarely met my license renewal requirement as a physician. It was well-written, and an altogether enjoyable read.
