I was hospitalized last year for almost a month and I noticed multiple medical errors (not being hooked up to my IV multiple times, given wrong medication which caused my sodium to be very low, etc.) which lengthened my stay. Wisconsin Registered Nurse Standard Renewal Requirements: Wisconsin RNs must renew their license every two years, with the deadline falling on February 28 (or 29 in leap years) of even-numbered years. There is currently no continuing education requirement for Wisconsin RN license renewal. Renewal is completed online through the state’s licensing system and includes completion of the Nursing Workforce Survey dsps.wi.gov
