Webinar description

Tardive dyskinesia (TD) remains an underrecognized and undertreated movement disorder that can significantly affect patients' quality of life, treatment adherence, and long-term outcomes. This interactive, case-based educational program is designed to equip managed care pharmacists, physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other clinicians with the knowledge and practical skills needed to identify, assess, and manage TD using current evidence and guideline-based recommendations. Through expert faculty discussions, AI-enhanced patient avatars portraying realistic clinical scenarios based on authentic patient cases, an interactive mock Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Committee exercise, and live Q&A, learners will explore best practices for screening and diagnosis, differentiate TD from other drug-induced movement disorders, evaluate evidence supporting FDA-approved treatment options, and examine the clinical and economic impact of treatment decisions. Participants will leave with practical, evidence-based strategies to optimize patient outcomes.

I really loved this information. I was hospitalized last year for almost a month and I noticed multiple medical errors (not being hooked up to my IV multiple times, given wrong medication which caused my sodium to be very low, etc.) which lengthened my stay. I can now define those exact errors and better understand what happened to me. I hate that these medical errors are so common and I appreciate how well laid out your breakdown and categorization of them was.
