Virginia Registered Nurse Standard Renewal Requirements: Virginia RNs must renew their license every two years, timed to the end of their birth month in either even or odd-numbered years. Most RNs satisfy the Board of Nursing’s continued competency requirement by completing 30 contact hours of approved continuing education or a combination of 15 contact hours plus 640 hours of active nursing practice. Multiple alternatives—such as national specialty certification, Board-approved academic coursework, or professional activities—are also accepted for license renewal ( Virginia Board of Nursing ).

I can now define those exact errors and better understand what happened to me.
