New Jersey Pharmacist Standard Renewal Requirements - New Jersey pharmacists must renew their licenses by April 30 every two years and complete 30 hours of continuing education, including 10 live or interactive hours, 3 law, and 1 opioid-related hour Board CE Guide Board License FAQ . Pharmacists who immunize or practice collaborative care have additional specific CE requirements, and up to 10 credits may be carried over to the next biennium if earned in the final 6 months, excluding opioid CE. I was hospitalized last year for almost a month and I noticed multiple medical errors (not being hooked up to my IV multiple times, given wrong medication which caused my sodium to be very low, etc.) which lengthened my stay. I can now define those exact errors and better understand what happened to me. I hate that these medical errors are so common and I appreciate how well laid out your breakdown and categorization of them was.
