Maryland Registered Nurse Standard Renewal Requirements: Maryland RNs must renew their license every two years, with the deadline on the 28th day of the birth month. To renew, nurses can choose between completing 30 Board-approved CE contact hours, showing 1,000 hours of nursing practice in the last five years, or recent graduation from a Board-approved nursing program within the past five years.
