Standard Renewal Requirements
Every Kentucky pharmacist must complete 15 hours of ACPE- or Board-approved continuing education each year, earned between March 1 and February 28 and certified by February 28, to satisfy Kentucky pharmacist license renewal. Within the 15 hours, all Kentucky pharmacists must complete 1 hour on opioid epidemic and opioid use disorder CE , a requirement in effect for licensing years 2023 through 2028. All hours may be completed through home study or online courses with an accredited package like Kentucky Pharmacy CE Package .
