Iowa Dentist Standard Renewal Requirements: Iowa dentists must complete 30 CE hours every two years within the Sept 1–Aug 31 cycle, including 1 hour each in infection control and Iowa jurisprudence, plus targeted hours if you prescribe opioids (1 hour) or hold a sedation permit (6 hours).
