Georgia Pharmacist Standard Renewal Requirements - Georgia pharmacists must renew their licenses every two years by December 31 of each even-numbered year, completing at least 30 hours of Board-approved continuing education per cycle. No mandatory live or topic-specific CE hours are listed in state regulations; all 30 hours may be general CE, and ACPE-accredited or other state-board-approved hours are accepted. First-time renewal: Pharmacists licensed during the first 6 months of a biennium (Jan–Jun) require 30 CE hours; licenses during the next 12 months (Jul–Jun, following year) require only 15 CE hours; those licensed in the last 6 months of the biennium (Jul–Dec, even year) are exempt from CE for that cycle.
