Florida Occupational Therapist Standard Renewal Requirements: Florida Occupational Therapists must renew their licenses every two years by February 28 of odd years, completing 26 total continuing education hours. Among these, 14 hours must be live or interactive (real-time), with 2 hours on Medical Errors, 2 hours on Florida OT Laws & Rules, and 1 hour of HIV/AIDS education required for the first renewal only. Up to 12 hours of home study (self-paced, non-interactive) CE is permitted per cycle. These requirements are mandated by the Florida OT regulatory authority. Renewal
