Florida Nursing Home Administrator Standard Renewal Requirements: Florida Nursing Home Administrators must complete 40 hours of Board-approved continuing education every two years, with at least 20 hours earned through live, in-person formats. State law requires 2 hours focused on prevention of medical errors for each renewal, plus 1 hour on human trafficking (one-time), and 1 hour of HIV/AIDS for first-time renewal.
