Additional information
Alaska Dentist Standard Renewal Requirements: Alaska dentists must complete 32 board-approved contact hours every two years and file their renewal by 28 February of each odd-numbered year. At least 2 of those hours must cover pain management and opioid use if the dentist holds a DEA registration, and licensees must maintain current CPR certification (up to 4 hours may be counted toward CE). While no fixed “live” minimum is imposed, the Board restricts Internet coursework to eight hours per 24-hour period and limits practice-management topics to three hours per cycle.
