Standard Renewal Requirements
Every Alabama pharmacist must complete 30 hours of ACPE-approved continuing education per 2-year renewal period, from an ACPE-accredited provider, as part of Alabama pharmacist license renewal. At least 6 of the 30 hours must be earned live, either in person or through real-time live CE webinars . The remaining 24 hours can be completed online at your own pace with an accredited package like the Alabama Pharmacist Online CE Package . The Alabama State Board of Pharmacy does not mandate state-wide specific subject-matter courses beyond the live-hour minimum unless you administer immunizations. Alabama pharmacists have flexibility in choosing pharmacy law, clinical, or specialty CE topics to round out their Alabama pharmacist continuing education requirements.
