Kansas Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Standard Renewal Requirements: Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors in Kansas must renew their license biennially by submitting a renewal application, CE reporting form, and fee before the license expiration date K.A.R. 102-3-9a . The renewal requires completing 30 hours of approved continuing education every two years, including 3 hours of professional ethics and 3 hours related to diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders as of July 1, 2025 K.A.R. 102-3-10a KS BSRB news .
