Florida Podiatric Physician Standard Renewal Requirements: Florida Podiatric Physicians must renew their licenses biennially by March 31 of even-numbered years, fulfilling 36 hours of continuing education including 1 hour of HIV/AIDS education (first renewal only), 2 hours in Medical Error Prevention, and 3 hours in Risk Management. The remaining hours may be general CE approved by the Board. Licenses not renewed on time enter delinquency, with reinstatement requiring additional fees and potential CE verification.
