District of Columbia Chiropractic Physician Standard Renewal Requirements:
Chiropractic physicians in the District of Columbia must renew their licenses biennially, completing 30 hours of approved continuing education. Of these, 2 hours must be in LGBTQ cultural competency and 3 hours in a Board-designated public health priority topic such as ethics or implicit bias. The renewal cycle for District of Columbia chiropractic licenses is every two years on even years, with the current cycle running from August 1, 2023, through July 31, 2025. Chiropractors must complete their CE requirements within this period to be eligible for renewal. Both online and in-person CE credits are accepted, with no minimum requirement for live hours.
