State requirements for Delaware Veterinarians
Delaware Veterinarian Standard Renewal Requirements: Delaware veterinarians must renew their license biennially by July 31 of odd-numbered years, completing 24 hours of approved continuing education within the preceding two-year period. The board requires an electronic attestation of CE completion, with random audits requiring submission of documentation. The continuing education must be targeted toward the improvement and advancement of the veterinarian's professional skills, and may include approved university courses and other Board-approved activities.
