About this course
Many new drugs have been added to the USP 800 hazardous drugs and unfortunately, many healthcare professionals have not been taught enough information on the danger of manipulating those agents. Nurses, licensed health aids, compounders as well as patients are at the frontline of toxicities by manipulating these agents. These effects include reproductive, teratogenic, and hormonal complications. The goal of this activity is to explain the importance of handling hazardous drugs properly to minimize harm to patients, compounders, and caregivers. This self-paced course is available online through any device with internet access. There are unlimited test attempts and no time limit for completion.
