Infertility Medications: Where Does the Pharmacist Stand and How Can We Effectively Help Patients – 1.5 CE

Activity Overview

This activity describes the anatomy and physiology of the reproductive cycles in both males and females, and explains the etiology of infertility in both groups. This activity will focus on the different protocols to address infertility and their uses. This includes the different medications used for each protocol, their pharmacology and side effect profiles. The importance of a healthy lifestyle in boosting chances of becoming pregnant are also discussed in this activity.

Deborah Lankin, PharmD, RPh, CMTM holds a dual PharmD degree from University of Paris-Sud XI, France, and Long Island University, New York in 2010 where she graduated with Honors from both schools.
