Activity Overview
With the recent FDA approval of several interleukin-23 antagonists added to the list of biologic response modifiers used in the management of plaque psoriasis, healthcare professionals need to be up-to-date with treatment options for this disease, evidence supporting their use, and patient-specific counseling points for psoriasis medications.
Healthcare professionals completing this continuing education program will learn about the underlying pathophysiology of plaque psoriasis, pharmacotherapy options to treat mild, moderate, and severe psoriasis, and how to select the best treatment option for patients based on history, comorbidities, and disease severity.
