Didn't feel like this had much to do with cosmetology it was focused on COVID
This course is outdated and not relevant to current salon safety standards
why are we learning about covid and hospitals and not our own line of work
This majority of this course was not designed for RN's but for pharmacist and pharmacy techs.
I'm sure the course was approved by State Board of cosmetology so I my issue is really with them choosing this course for the beauty industry.
Most of the information in this course did not directly (or even indirectly, in many cases) apply to salon professionals. Almost all of the information was connected to COVID-19. There are SO many other contagions/biological hazards that are to be faced when working with clientele other than COVID. I am severely disappointed with this course, in that it is so narrow-minded and also REQUIRED to renew my license. This course felt more applicable to someone working in EMS who KNOWS they are going to face COVID and must continue to interact with the carrier. NOT someone who must be able to quickly determine if a client is a carrier or not, and send them home if it is determined that they are sick. I never leave one-star reviews, but this one earned it. So VERY disappointing.
I don't think we as hair stylists need to know any of this information to be able to do our job effectively.
I felt this course was extremely heavy in pharmacology details not pertinent to my current practice.
This course test is all about Covid-19, I felt it was very unnecessary, informative, yes but I did not think it to be relevant.
THE MOST IRRELEVANT 20 MINUTES TO MY CAREER I'VE EVER SPENT. I WOULD BE BETTER OFF READING THE COMMUNIST MANIFESTO COVER TO COVER.
This hardly has anything to do with anything that goes on in a salon.
Does not pertain to the cosmetology industry in any way shape or form
I am not a first responder, I do not need to know almost ANY of this information. I was a paramedic. I don't need to know this to do hair, this is the most ridiculous waste of my time.
It was so incredibly outdated and just dealt with Covid. It had not relevance and it was annoying have to take it.
Why do I need to know this much information about COVID 19. This is ridiculous.
The state board requires it; I must comply. Since the state board treats me like a drug pusher when I prescribe controlled substances, I rarely do so.
If this course is supposed to be for salon professionals, then we shouldn't be taking a course about COVID-19 and healthcare providers. It should be about infection control within a salon. Do better next time.
I expected the material to be more cosmetology related. EMS information seemed unnecessary and not beneficial to a cosmetologist.
I don't think this is very relevant to the cosmetology field at all!
has nothing to do with salons and infection control in the salons
I felt as if this was continuing education for EMS. This has nothing to do with the infections cosmetologists come into contact with.
I did not need to know any of this, because I am not essential worker.
I dont feel this helps me at all as a hairstylist and these tests, ever since covid happened, are only geared to healthcare field and have lost the purpose of what it was first meant for. At least as a hairstylist needs.
This course has absolutely nothing to do with Ohio Salon Infection Control & Safety. This course/test was over the health care industry and and standard practices which I am not familiar with and it's out of my scope of practice. I was expecting to be tested on and refreshed on Salon methods of infection control and safety with very brief overviews of pandemic/ Health Care practices. I don't need to know about EMS workers and Healthcare practices and how they clean transport Vehicles between patients. that does not concern me. I'm a nail tech. We need to be refreshed on contact time between clients and the desk and the salon floor and pedicure chairs and nail stations and disinfecting Combs and brushes and tools and implements. And this course did not cover any of that. This course needs to cover more Salon practices were not Healthcare workers this is not our scope
