Tennessee Physical Therapy Assistant Standard Renewal Requirements: Tennessee Physical Therapy Assistants must renew biennially by the last day of their license issuance month and complete 30 continuing education hours in the preceding two years. At least 20 hours must be Category 1 credits (live or interactive), with no more than 10 hours from Category 2 (such as online or self-study). Additionally, 4 hours are required in Tennessee Ethics (2 hours) and Jurisprudence (2 hours). These requirements are overseen by the Tennessee Board of Physical Therapy Continuing Education

I was hospitalized last year for almost a month and I noticed multiple medical errors (not being hooked up to my IV multiple times, given wrong medication which caused my sodium to be very low, etc.) which lengthened my stay.
