  • Ohio Hearing Aid Specialist/Fitter Standard Renewal Requirements: Hearing Aid Specialist/Fitter licenses in Ohio must be renewed every two years by December 31 of even years, requiring 20 hours of continuing education. Of these, 2 hours must cover ethics and at least 10 hours must relate specifically to hearing aid fitting activities. There is no minimum live or in-person hour requirement. CE credit can include academic coursework or board-approved activities in related disciplines.
