New Hampshire APRN Standard Renewal Requirements: New Hampshire APRNs must renew their license every two years and complete 60 contact hours of continuing education, which includes 30 for the RN license (the RN requirement may be satisfied by national certification), 20 hours directly related to the APRN's specialty, and 5 dedicated to pharmacology. APRNs with a DEA number must ensure that at least 3 of these pharmacology hours address opioid prescribing, pain management, or substance use disorder.
