Nevada Dentist Standard Renewal Requirements: Nevada dentists must complete 40 hours of Board-approved CE biennially, including infection control, substance misuse, and a one-time bioterrorism course at the first renewal. Up to half of the total hours (20 hours) may be completed by home study. Certain content, such as opioid or controlled substance training, is mandatory for prescribing dentists and/or those with a DEA registration.
