  • Nebraska Registered Nurse Standard Renewal Requirements: Nebraska RNs must renew their license every two years, with the current cycle ending October 31 of even-numbered years. To qualify for renewal, RNs need 20 contact hours of continuing education or may choose from several alternate competency options, such as recent practice hours, graduation from a nursing program, or national certification. All CE should be from approved sources, with no more than 4 hours from CPR/BLS and at least 10 hours peer-reviewed. I really loved this information.
