Missouri Dentist Standard Renewal Requirements: Missouri dentists must complete 50 hours of Board-approved CE every two years, with no minimum for live or in-person credits. All hours may be done by home-study or online, provided they are Board-approved. Dentists must complete a one-time opioid management course, and all must maintain current CPR/BLS certification with practical skills. I was hospitalized last year for almost a month and I noticed multiple medical errors (not being hooked up to my IV multiple times, given wrong medication which caused my sodium to be very low, etc.) which lengthened my stay. I can now define those exact errors and better understand what happened to me.
