Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse Standard Renewal Requirements: Minnesota LPNs must renew their license every two years by the last day of their birth month, completing 12 contact hours of Board-approved continuing education. There are no subject area or in-person requirements, and CE activities can be taken in any relevant area from approved providers. Renewal is completed online and CE documentation should be kept for at least two years. All details and renewal procedures are explained on the Minnesota Board of Nursing renewal page .
