Massachusetts Dental Hygienist Standard Renewal Requirements: Massachusetts dental hygienists renew every two years by March 31 of odd years and must complete 20 CEUs in the preceding 24 months. Self-instruction is limited to 10 CEUs (with a test), so at least 10 CEUs must be earned via attended/participatory activities. Required items include CDC Guidelines CE and continuous CPR/AED or BLS.
