Maine Physician Assistant Standard Renewal Requirements: Maine Physician Assistants must renew their licenses biennially with 100 CME hours per renewal cycle, exactly half of which must be AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ or equivalent. A minimum of 3 Category 1 CME hours on opioid prescribing is mandatory for all PAs every renewal cycle.. PAs maintaining current NCCPA certification can submit certification proof as CME fulfillment. Licenses expire at the end of the licensee's birth month and renewal requires online application and fee submission Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine PA

I was hospitalized last year for almost a month and I noticed multiple medical errors (not being hooked up to my IV multiple times, given wrong medication which caused my sodium to be very low, etc.) which lengthened my stay. I can now define those exact errors and better understand what happened to me. I hate that these medical errors are so common and I appreciate how well laid out your breakdown and categorization of them was.
