Kansas APRN Standard Renewal Requirements: Kansas APRNs must renew their licenses every two years, submitting 30 contact hours of approved CNE relevant to their advanced practice role (NP, CNS, CRNA, or NMS). All CEs must be at the APRN level—RN-level CEs are not accepted. Those with DEA registration must complete a federally mandated one-time 8-hour opioid/substance use disorder course. Specific instructions and compliance guidance are detailed on the Kansas Board of Nursing FAQ page .
First-time renewal: APRNs renewing within 30 months of initial licensure or within 9 months of reinstatement/endorsement are exempt from the CNE requirement. Kansas Board of Nursing FAQs

I can now define those exact errors and better understand what happened to me.
