Idaho APRN Standard Renewal Requirements: Idaho Advanced Practice Registered Nurses must renew every two years by August 31 of odd-numbered years and complete 30 contact hours of continuing education, including 10 pharmacology hours if they have prescriptive authority. All APRNs must also maintain a current RN license, national certification, and completion of a peer review process. If an APRN has not practiced at least 200 hours in the prior two years, there are specific re-entry requirements (Idaho Board of Nursing) (Idaho APRN Policies PDF) .
