Hawaii APRN Standard Renewal Requirements: Hawaii APRNs must renew licensure by June 30 of odd-numbered years and complete 30 hours of CE every two years, with at least 8 hours in pharmacology if they hold prescriptive authority. As an alternative, other recognized learning options—like national certification, nurse residency, board-approved coursework, preceptorship, research, or academic teaching—can satisfy renewal requirements.
