Arkansas Physician Assistant - Standard Renewal Requirements: Arkansas Physician Assistants renew annually in their birth month, and the license expires automatically at midnight on the last day of that month if not renewed online. PAs must complete 20 CME hours each year, tracked from the prior birth month to the current birth month, with no specified category distribution for those hours. I was hospitalized last year for almost a month and I noticed multiple medical errors (not being hooked up to my IV multiple times, given wrong medication which caused my sodium to be very low, etc.) which lengthened my stay. I can now define those exact errors and better understand what happened to me. I hate that these medical errors are so common and I appreciate how well laid out your breakdown and categorization of them was.
