Arkansas Dentist Standard Renewal Requirements: Arkansas dentists must earn 50 CEUs every two years and submit their renewal before January 1 of each even-numbered year to avoid automatic license forfeiture. Acceptable CE can be taken entirely online if it includes a graded post-test, but every cycle must contain at least one hour of Infection-Control training, and dentists who prescribe controlled substances must complete three hours of Board-approved prescribing education within their first two years of licensure. Teaching, publishing, and advanced academic study may be counted toward the 50-hour total, while purely financial or business-meeting content is expressly excluded. ADA Arkansas Department of Health
