Arizona Physical Therapist Assistant Standard Renewal Requirements: Arizona Physical Therapist Assistants must renew every two years, completing 20 contact hours in each cycle. Of these, a minimum of 10 hours must be from approved Category A courses or activities, and up to 10 hours may be fulfilled through study groups, self-instruction, teaching, in-service, practice management, and publications, as defined by Category B and C with subcategory caps.
