Additional information
Alaska Dental Hygienist Standard Renewal Requirements: Alaska dental hygienists must complete 20 board-approved contact hours every two years and file renewal by 28 February of each odd-numbered year. CE must include a current, hands-on CPR course (up to four of the 20 hours) and follow content caps—no more than three hours in practice/risk-management and only two hours credited for volunteer charity care. While the Board does not mandate a live-class minimum, it limits online learning to eight hours per 24-hour window and accepts teaching, self-study and study-club activities that meet 12 AAC 28.410 standards .
