South Carolina Licensed Addiction Counselor Supervisor Standard Renewal Requirements: Licensed Addiction Counselor Supervisors in South Carolina must complete 10 hours of continuing education in supervision specific to their discipline every two years to renew their license. This is in addition to the CE required for active addiction counselor licenses. CE may be obtained through board-approved live or online courses with no minimum live hour requirement specified. Up to 20 hours per cycle of informal CE activities, such as presenting or publishing, may count toward the total.
