Veterinarians have been combatting canine bacterial and protozoal tick-borne diseases for decades. In recent years, the geographic regions of many of these pathogens have expanded, which suggests that the pathogens transmitted by ticks are much more extensive than expected. As a result, tick control for dogs is more important than ever. This course is designed to further educate veterinarians and veterinarian technicians on various tick-borne diseases as well as how to accurately diagnose, treat, and prevent these illnesses in canine patients.
