RSV 101: Your Guide to Respiratory Syncytial Virus in Children – 1 CE

Activity Overview
Although COVID-19 is the respiratory virus getting the most attention at the moment, health care providers must also consider other common respiratory viruses when presented with a child experiencing respiratory signs and symptoms. RSV, more formally known as respiratory syncytial virus, is one of the most common causes of severe respiratory illness in young children. This course provides guidelines for diagnosing and managing RSV in children as well as prevention measures to prevent the spread of the disease.
This course is equivalent to one contact hour. It can be accessed using a laptop, a computer, or a mobile device.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this continuing education activity, the participant will be able to:
- Identify the clinical manifestations of RSV in children.
- Identify the management and treatment procedures for RSV in children.
- Identify measures to prevent the spread of RSV in children.
