Next Renewal Date:
Texas nursing licenses must be renewed before the last day of the licensee’s birth month every 2 years
Required Courses:
- 2 hours on Geriatrics
- 2 hours on Nursing Jurisprudence and Ethics – required every third renewal
- 2 hours in Forensic Evidence Collection – Emergency room nurses & those who perform forensic examinations on sexual assault survivors (one time requirement)
- Human Trafficking approved by HHSC
