Texas nursing licenses must be renewed before the last day of the licensee’s birth month every 2 years

Required Courses:

  • 2 hours on Geriatrics
  • 2 hours on Nursing Jurisprudence and Ethics – required every third renewal

    • Texas RN, LPN, and APRN on their initial license renewal are not required to comply with the required general course requirements for their profession.
