Additional Information

  • CPR Requirement during COVID-19 pandemic – The board temporarily suspends in-person continuing education requirements for licensing renewals of health care personnel. The Order is effective and shall remain in effect for the duration of the declared state of emergency or until rescinded. All dentists, hygienists and dental assistants must maintain a current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certificate. Anesthesia permit holders are required to maintain current advanced cardiac life support certification or pediatric advanced life support as specified by permit. The Board encourages licensees to obtain renewal of CPR certification as it becomes available.
  • New graduates who have been licensed by examination within 24 months of renewal are exempt from CE as the accredited education applies. CPR must be maintained at all times.
