Note: If certified by the Minnesota Veterinary Technician Association (MVTA), 10 hours are required. At least 5 hours must be from an interactive course (online accepted) while the remaining 5 hours of credit may be obtained through non-interactive. All courses must be AAVSB – RACE approved.

Additional Information

  • In response to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and cancellation of many continuing education programs, the Board will allow pre-recorded webinars to be counted as interactive CE for 2021 and 2022 license renewal CE requirements.
  • Continuing education requirements are waived for the time period immediately preceding the first license renewal date.
