FL LMTs no longer required in-person training for 2021 renewals

by | Oct 8, 2020 | Renewal Requirements by State & Profession

The Florida Board of Massage Therapy has recently approved changes to its continuing education rules for massage therapists in response to COVID-19 protocols.

For the 2019-2021 biennial renewal period, all twelve (12) classroom hours required to be taught in an in-person setting may be completed through distance learning. This means that all 24 contact hours required for the renewal of Florida massage therapists may now be taken online.

Notice of this rule change may be found here.

Typically, Florida LMTs are required to complete 24 hours of continuing education every two years, with only 12 hours allowed to be completed online or as home study. The next deadline for FL LMT renewal is on August 31, 2021. All 24 contact hours required for Florida LMTs for the August 2021 renewal may be taken online with AchieveCE.

AchieveCE will soon offer additional LMT courses that meet the requirements of the Florida Board of Massage Therapy.

I have read your article carefully and I agree with you very much. This has provided a great help for my thesis writing, and I will seriously improve it. However, I don’t know much about a certain place. Can you help me?
