Learn to identify and manage patients with vaping-related lung injuries while assisting them in reducing the risk of developing such injuries in this course.

About this course
Although cigarette smoking has been decreasing, electronic cigarettes and nicotine delivery devices seem to be gaining in popularity, especially among adolescents and young adults. With the rapid rise in the popularity of e-cigarettes and vaping products, there has been a concurrent increase in associated illnesses and complications. Vaping-related illnesses, particularly e-cigarette or vaping product use-associated lung injury (EVALI), have emerged as significant public health issues. As healthcare professionals, it's crucial to be equipped with the necessary knowledge to understand, identify, manage, and prevent these conditions. This training course on vaping-related illnesses has been designed to bridge the knowledge gap, providing healthcare professionals with the tools and information to manage patients with vaping-related lung injuries and help patients reduce their risk for developing these injuries.
In this course, learners will embark on a journey that begins with the history of vaping-related lung injuries and leads up to the cutting-edge prevention strategies. Attention will be given to understanding the demographics most at risk, with an emphasis on the health impact for adolescents and young adults. Further, the program will demystify the agents responsible for these ailments and articulate best practices suggested by authoritative health bodies. Managing and preventing recurrent hospitalization in affected patients is also addressed, rounded off with a focus on precise medical documentation and record keeping for these health concerns. By merging engaging lectures, case studies, and real-world examples, this course aims to offer a blend of theory and practical skills needed to combat this evolving public health challenge.

Real reviews, real results
I am always interested in continuing education in the areas of health, wellness, nutrition and mental health. Your course was well written, well organized and helpful in meeting state licensure requirements.
Very well written, easy to digest, time efficient, and straight to the point. Thank you!
I appreciate the convenience of the course being online and accessible through my phone and that it directly reports to CEBroker to support mandated education requirements.
I really loved this information. I was hospitalized last year for almost a month and I noticed multiple medical errors (not being hooked up to my IV multiple times, given wrong medication which caused my sodium to be very low, etc.) which lengthened my stay. I can now define those exact errors and better understand what happened to me. I hate that these medical errors are so common and I appreciate how well laid out your breakdown and categorization of them was.
I am always looking for concise ,thorough, and up to date continuing education, and this course provided exactly what I was looking for. Thank you
Enjoyed this course! It squarely met my license renewal requirement as a physician. It was well-written, and an altogether enjoyable read.
