About this course
This course provides 2 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits for license renewal. Reliable contraceptives are an essential part of life for many women today. Nearly all U.S. women who have ever had sexual intercourse have used some form of contraception at some point during their reproductive lives. However, multiple barriers prevent women from obtaining contraceptives or using them effectively and consistently. All women should have unhindered and affordable access to all U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved contraceptives. As healthcare providers are important contributors to women’s contraceptive use, this activity was conducted to assess provider knowledge about contraception to improve their patients’ contraceptive use.
